Lead Product Director, Telehealth/Virtual Care, Medicaid Business Unit, Aetna

​Kelly is the Lead Director of Medicaid’s Telehealth/Virtual Care and has been with Aetna Medicaid for 19 years.  She started at Aetna as Manager of BH UM overseeing Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial and EAP contracts and their 24/7 BH crisis call center. In 2009 she joined the Medical Management department to develop Aetna Medicaid’s Integrated Care Management (ICM) Program, subsequently leading the design of its sister LTSS and Duals programs. Kelly served as the National Director of ICM and successfully integrated the centralized Disease Management into ICM for a holistic member experience.  In 2017 she led CM ABX (lean Six Sigma) Initiatives launching Aetna Care Connection Teams to maximize staffing flexibility and cost savings and also deployed Medicaid’s first Executive Dashboard for care management metrics. In 2020 she transitioned to Director of Business Consultation in Medicaid Strategic Initiatives leading medical cost savings and transformation initiatives with CVS partners from Retail, Minute Clinic, Health Hub, and Caremark with the aim of facilitating CVS/Aetna integration and leveraging CVS assets to differentiate Aetna Medicaid in the marketplace.

Kelly spent 11 years with Arizona’s Child Protective Services and has also worked with crisis centers, seriously mentally ill, homeless, and in a local Phoenix school district.  Kelly grew up in western NY but has been in AZ for 35 years.​​
