Prior to becoming an independent consultant, Lara Oktay was with UVA Health for 12 years as the Operations and Clinical Manager for the Karen S. Rheuban Center for Telehealth. She provided oversight for telehealth strategic program development and implementation as well as managing departmental clinical, personnel and business operations. Lara is a leader in use case and workflow development in clinical telemedicine and is experienced with initiatives in emergency telehealth, patient access, EHR integration, transfer management, remote patient monitoring, and data collection and analysis. In her free time Lara enjoys hiking, working in her herb and vegetable gardens, and trying out new sourdough recipes.
